Welcome back to Digitally Inclusive! Hope you all are doing fine. Today you will witness some of the buzzing technologies in the IT industry.
There are some advanced technologies in the market like Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, RPA, and DevOps. But, we would talk about those in the later part as those topics need a basic understanding of this industry and how it works.
So as per current market scenario will talk about Technology or skills you would require to survive and also flourish in It or Corporate world.
Before we talk about Trending Technologies I would talk in brief about existing technologies that have created their niche in the industry.
So for anyone who is thinking of making a career or switching their domain from any field to IT, the basic knowledge you should have is of programming and database connectivity. Now you would be wondering what programming and database connectivity are. So, let me simplify it for you.
Programming can be said as working on a specific computer-level language so that you can simplify and instruct the computer to process a group of instructions and do a necessary job. There are many programming languages in the market. But here I would talk about just a couple of them.
- C Language-
C is a powerful general-purpose programming language. It can be used to develop software like operating systems, databases, compilers, and so on. C programming is an excellent language to learn to program for beginners. For anyone who wants to get their basics right, they need to start learning this language rigorously.
- Java Language-
Java is a powerful general-purpose programming language. It is used to develop desktop and mobile applications, big data processing, embedded systems, and so on. According to Oracle, the company that owns Java, Java runs on 3 billion devices worldwide, which makes Java one of the most popular programming languages. When you are learning this language there are a couple of things to keep in mind which are as follows:
- As this language is extremely in demand so this needs extensive practical exposure so along with this language you need to learn a couple of its subsidiaries like Spring Boot, Hibernate, Swing, Struts, EJB, etc as these are frameworks for Java.
- So as initially, I talked about Database Connectivity you need to go through languages like SQL, MYSQL, Postgresql, MongoDB for knowing databases to be linked with Java, and also before you learn the above Database languages you should also know concepts like RDBMS, DBMS, Data Mining, and Data Warehousing.
Python is an interpreted, high-level, general-purpose programming language. Created by Guido van Rossum and first released in 1991, Python’s design philosophy emphasizes code readability with its notable use of significant whitespace. Its language constructs and object-oriented approach aim to help programmers write clear, logical code for small and large-scale projects. It is easy to learn than Java and also has huge demand and less competition than Java.
We will talk about other technologies and their scope and impact on the IT industry in future blogs.
